I got a call from Mother Jones Magazine to do an illustration on the highly sketchy past of Republican lobbyist, Jack Abramoff. The article deemed him a "True Believer" in Conservatism but somehow squandered his bright future by allegedly defrauding Native American Casinos among other activities. What immediately came to mind was the biblical story of Daniel in the Lions den, However I don't think the outcome would have likely been the same in Jack Abramoff's case.
