This portrait of John Stewart was for the second annual edition of the "Time 100 Issue". It was one of a series of portraits for the Arts and Entertainment section. He is the wittiest comedic commentator in America and the Daily Show is at the forefront of political satire. I wanted to show him in a more serious moment, reading the newspaper as he would normally prepare his day gathering material to be turned into satire.
