HOW IRONIC
"We were so pleased when we opened a package Friday morning and found a new Simon & Schuster book personally inscribed by the author, Richard Stengel. The message, signed "Cheers, Rick," referred to PAGE SIX as the "world's greatest column." We were still smiling when we read the title of the tome, "You're Too Kind: A Brief History of Flattery." Then, as we looked at the cover illustration of a lipstick print on a derriere, we finally got the joke. But, as the saying goes, flattery will get you everywhere."
New York Post, "Page Six," May 14, 2000
