When Apple made drawing on the iPod Touch possible, I jumped onboard, even though the “canvas” was so small. Then, in 2010, they released the iPad and I was hooked. I had been doing watercolors for years, now I could draw/paint wherever with a full range of colors and brushes. Best of all, I didn’t need a bowl of water or a table to work on. It was a portable studio.
Below are just some of what I have drawn and deemed worthy. To assist in loading the images on your screen, I have put them in to separate galleries. I began by primarily drawing Flora. Then as Stargardts began affecting my vision, I made a series of distorted self portraits.
These were done while visiting friends.
Almost all of these were made during a 2011 trip to Brazil.
More drawings of flora; most made while sitting in my living room chair.
Self portraits begun when my vision started to change.
