Cupid

This piece accompanied a "love gone horribly wrong" article
in ESQUIRE. It was heavily influenced by Parmigianino's Cupid.
It's my "Rambo Cupid". He's out for revenge instead of
love and he's taking no prisoners, thus the flaming arrows.
I originally thought he should also have a drinking problem, so I
put an empty bottle of Jack D by the tree stump but it was nixed
by the editors. They did let me keep the "Love Hurts" tattoo.
It's the first piece of mine that got into the American Illustration Annual.
