This was originally done for Country Weekly Magazine accompanying an article on the legend. I always wanted to do an early sixties Johnny, when he was a hard living road dog. And I wanted it to feel like an intimate moment with him in an unglamorous dressing room right before he hit the stage. He is one of the coolest looking musicians I've ever seen as well as being an all-time great.
