Reverend Ted Haggard might have thought he had a second act as a man of faith but was unable to wash himself clean of the stigma of his secret homosexual life. Design Director, Rockwell Harwood, had a perfect satirical point of view - Haggard being baptized in drag. I tried to give it as much classical appeal as I've seen in some of my most favorite religious paintings. I wonder how Reubens would have handled it?
