Rivalry

The Bird/Magic rivalry was the stuff of legend and photographer, Andrew D Bernstein, immortalized it. I was asked by the Times to recreate one of his famous photos from that era but instead using Kobe Bryant and Paul Pierce. All in the hope that this once great rivalry would be again be rekindled. There were big differences to work out, especially the loose fitted uniforms of today compared to the tight and short uniforms of the past. The sneakers of today have a 21 century look. I'm nostalgic for the old Converse style and the Air Jordan's but I'll pass on the tight shorts.
